Excellent example of AIPA with great hop aromatics, flavor, and bittereness. Pours to a beautiful, slightly hazy, deep golden color, with a thick white head, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose is excellent with a pungent burst, of lemon/citrus hop aroma. Hops dominate the nose. The palate is firm with lots of good pale, and biscuity malt flavor, paired with a nice under tone of candied lemon peel hop flavor. This beer finishes with more good pale malt and candied hop flavors up front, then ends with a zesty citrus/lemon hop bitterness that lingers. Excellent AIPA with lots of flavor but still a very drinkable beer. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

It’s a bit flat on the tongue, and slightly off or sour to the nose, but the taste is a knockout with a hoppy depth that you’ll come back for. Dark nutty, grainy flavors. Mild coffee undertone. Heavy, herby pine and resin hops flavors. Red Wine and oak overtones. Medium amber and red hues. moderately sweet and bitter, while lightly acidic. Average duration of aftertaste. dry, lively, and astringent. Easily my favorite at Triumph. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Nose was piney and pink grapefruit-like, with softer touches of fuzzy fruit and caramel. Good up front hop bitterness with just slight hints of sweet malt in the end. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Real nice session IPA... DeadGuyFrank (347), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA

Draft at Princetone, and I must say this is far better than the sample I had a few months back. Pours amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, and hop cones. Nice pale malt backbone to the hop bitterness, which is fruity and grassy. Soft carbonation. Some dryness on the finish. This is like a harvest ale. I wonder if this recipe has changed, or that I just had a fresh sample. Because the first one I had was a 3.2. This is far better. NJBeerman013 (786), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

It seems that everytime I try this, it gets better. Pours a nicie deep copper with a fluffy long lasting head and nice lace. Aroma is tons of tea-hops with hints of citrus american hops- some hints of pine and citrus now. Good fruity, tea and herbal hop flavor with a fresh pale malt backbone- nice bitter yet clean hop profile in the end. Really nice solid american- english IPA. Way better than it used to be.
