Commercial Description:
About a hundred and fifty years ago a new style of beer, the granddaddy of clear pale lagers, arose in the Bohemian town of Pilsen. To get that authentic Old World taste, we use genuine Saaz hops imported from the Czech Republic.

Draft at New Hope location. Pours clear golden yellow in color with a pure white head. It has a mellow grassy, citrusy aroma. Clean semi-sweet malts and light piney, citrus, and herbal notes round out the flavor. Very refreshing and drinkable.

Gold pour with a nice white head and lace. Aroma of light malt a hint of corn? and very light nice earthy hops. Semi sweet malt with a very mild bitter. A medium bodied beer that was just a tad foamy.

Tap at the Princeton brewpub. Very impressive offering considering the style. Aroma of grain, pale malt, and Saaz hops. Flavor more of the same with a hoppy finish. Nice crisp palate befitting for the style. Good stuff.

Simple clean noble hop taste with good lager crispness. Nothing challenging or adventurous, but very drinkable and simple.

Growler shared by willblake. Thanks Jon. Nose is grassy hops, mildly sweet malt. Flavor is nice and grassy, a bit of must, with nice malt character. Palate is yeasty and chewy with more hops and malt. Refreshing pils and a great way to start the weekend in shenandoah.

Draft at Princeton. Pours a clear gold with a nice frothy white head. Aroma of fresh grain and floral hops. Very crisp and clean palate. Flavor has a strong bite from the Saaz and lots of grassy grains up front. Great thirst quencher on a hot summer day.

Tap at Princeton. Lemony, artichoke aroma is surprising and unique, if not totally off style. Disturbing lack of head. Corny with a fine, misty malt and a nice clean yeast and body. Refreshing.

Tap at the Princeton location. Golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is pretty decent. Floral and lightly grassy. It’s got a nice light honeyish maltiness that is good but isn’t quite authentic. Solid bitterness with a lovely balance of floral hops and soft maltiness.
