Commercial Description:
About a hundred and fifty years ago a new style of beer, the granddaddy of clear pale lagers, arose in the Bohemian town of Pilsen. To get that authentic Old World taste, we use genuine Saaz hops imported from the Czech Republic.

Tap at P-town. A very well made czech pils all around. Pours a crystal clear light gold sparklling carbonation and a frothy white head and nice lace. Aroma is very spicy and herbal with tons of saaz hops with a nice full malty bready backbone. More spice in the flavor with the pils malts and a somewhat startling sharp hop bitterness. Overall this is a great pils- very hoppy, but still delicious.

on tap-pours a creamy white head with gold color. Aroma is malt and hops. Taste is musty, grain, hops with some flat bite through the finish. Good carbonation.

Triumph Princeton Pours golden with a nice 1 finger head. Modestly hoppy aroma with lots of grain notes like lightly toasted bread. Hops are zesty/spicy with floral hints. The Pilsners at Triumph are better every time. Amazing quality for a beer that should sit in the tanks for much longer than demand will allow.

Very low, grainy malt aroma with some herbal, grassy hops. Clear golden body with low white head that recedes to ring. Grainy, cereal malt flavour with herbal, spicy hop character and light bitterness. Light, refreshing body with moderate, crisp carbonation. Sampled at GABF 2005.

Light golden with a small white head and too much foam. Aroma has saaz hops, grain and citrus. The taste was quite hoppy. More hoppy then malty. Mouthfeel was full considering the lightness of the style. A fine Pilsner.

On tap at Princeton BP. Light golden in color with a small white head. Mild malt aroma. Flavor is mostly mild malt and finishes clean. I prefer a pilsener to be much hoppier however.

11.??.04 Sample, Princeton. Pale gold color, not much white head. Light aromas, saazy, fresh grain. Flavor is richer than most pils, the flavor is in line with citrus zest, more grass, wet grain. Drinks fuller than expected. Not bad for a BP pils.
