Commercial Description:
About a hundred and fifty years ago a new style of beer, the granddaddy of clear pale lagers, arose in the Bohemian town of Pilsen. To get that authentic Old World taste, we use genuine Saaz hops imported from the Czech Republic.

Clear straw body with white head. Aroma is mild -- mild sweet, grassy, lemon. Taste is mild sweet, grassy, some lemon, fairly bitter. Medium body, some crispness.

on tap-pours a creamy white head with gold color. Aroma is malt and hops. Taste is musty, grain, hops with some flat bite through the finish. Good carbonation.

Tap at the Princeton location. Golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is pretty decent. Floral and lightly grassy. It’s got a nice light honeyish maltiness that is good but isn’t quite authentic. Solid bitterness with a lovely balance of floral hops and soft maltiness.

Very low, grainy malt aroma with some herbal, grassy hops. Clear golden body with low white head that recedes to ring. Grainy, cereal malt flavour with herbal, spicy hop character and light bitterness. Light, refreshing body with moderate, crisp carbonation. Sampled at GABF 2005.

Rerate: Clear, yellow gold. Very good balance of malt and excellent Czechy bitter edge. Excellent pilsner.

Tap at P-town. A very well made czech pils all around. Pours a crystal clear light gold sparklling carbonation and a frothy white head and nice lace. Aroma is very spicy and herbal with tons of saaz hops with a nice full malty bready backbone. More spice in the flavor with the pils malts and a somewhat startling sharp hop bitterness. Overall this is a great pils- very hoppy, but still delicious.

Almost a clear straw yellow color with medium sized head. Aroma mostly of both wheat and barley. Taste is rich for a pilsener (which I like) with flavors of sweet corn and light hops.
