Clear golden body is topped by a low but lasting, bright, white head that laces nicely. Moderately bitter up front with a light grainy malt note, some berrylike esters and leafy, herbal character. Light body with lively, crisp carbonation. Sampled at GABF 2005. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA

Smell had citrus, graitfruit and casade. A little weak in the aroma. Taste had a good graitfruit, citrus and caramel trio. Mouthfeel had mainly graitfruit but was not overly carbonated. Quite enjoyable and similar to Sierra Nevada. JFGrind (1354), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA

Strong cascade aroma, dark golden brown appearance. Triumph isn’t re-inventing the APA here, but serving up a tasty version of it. Cornboy (417), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA

Nice hoppy nose, slightly floral. Head is about 2 fingers on first pour (second pint had no head, I blame the glassware)
If you are familiar with Triumph, it reminds me of a hoppier version of the Bengal IPA. Very drinkable, session beer. willblake (2186), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

I wasn’t hoping for much from this beer, just another brewpub APA, I figured. Golden-amber color with little head. C-hop aromas, orange, light pine. Flavors are decidedly mixed between orange and some pine, not very well integrated but present. Big, full mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish, but not as much as expected. Very tasty and quaffable overall. Certainly has the typical Triumph stamp yet made me nostalgic for the great APAs of the PNW. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA

Like my good friend Jine, I was wary (mostly because of the name), but I was pleasantly surprised. A fine ale overall...for me to poop on. Just kidding, but I had to do it. ha. Pleasant hoppy aroma light amber color. Very smooth and easy to drink. Aftertaste is a little harsher than desired, but its still a fine beer. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Smoky, strong C-hop nose, dark amber with a lovely creamy, lasting head. Smooth, maltier than their IPA and with a beautifully balanced lemony-wet piney hop presence throughout.
