Jun 7, 2008 This one was really tasty. Sampled at Princeton location. Pours black with white head. Great coffee and roast aromas. Very smooth on the tongue, but a bit water. Very easy drinking, would try again.

Mar 30, 2008 Sampler at Princeton. A dark, flat, brown color with a tan thick, great head. A very heavy weight on the tongue, with musky chocolate, coffee, and nut flavors and aroma. Very hoppy. A great stout.

Dec 2, 2007 On tap at the Downtown Philly location. Poured a dark brown color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of coffee (originally I was getting lighter coffee but as I drank more and smelled more, the coffee got stronger in the aromas), roast, lactose, and some chocolate. Tastes of coffee, lactose, cream, caramel, roast, and light chocolate. Lacing left on the glass.

Nov 27, 2007 On tap at the 2007 GABF: Nearly opaque dark mahogany with a small creamy dark tan head. Aroma of sweet dark caramel and chocolate with a hint of espresso. Body starts fairly thin with a lightly caramel maltiness and some smooth mild dark chocolate and coffee. Very drinkable but needs more body.

Nov 21, 2007 On tap at the brew pub in Philly. Really nice stout. Coffee aroma and flavor and a wonderful creamy feel. Nice and malty. Chocolate comes through. Dry finish. Good stuff.
