| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 11, 2007 Draft: Pours dark black with a thick head after the nitro pour settles, aroma is coffee and taste is coffee, coffee and more coffee with a dry, clean aftertaste. I don’t drink coffee so I’d estimate this beer is the closest I’ve thing I’ve had to a cup of joe. Pretty good stuff. Dorwart (1820), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Oct 2, 2007 Nitro draft at the Princeton location. Niro makes it look real pretty in the glass as it settles slowly over about 3 minutes. Head that lingered for the duration of the drink. Thick, dense and creamy. Nice roasty aroma with some milk chocoalte, a bit of coffee, roasted grains and a bit of swetness. Color is a muddy brown with a hint of red. Super smooth mouthfeel. May be the nitro. Mild coffee flavors, more roasted malts and milk chocolate. Bit of dryness and chalkyness. Full bodied. Finishes creamy and smooth and delicious. I am not a big coffee fan so this brew has just the right amount to accent the flavor. Fantastic brew. Solstice1222 (11), Pine Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jul 4, 2007 I really liked this beer. Another from the GSBF 2007. I expected a milder coffee flavor and in the mouth that is what I got. On the way down is where the coffee hit. If there was a way to get a creamier taste from it, I would consider making special trips to get it. EithCubes (2151), Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 28, 2007 Draught in Princeton. Near-opaque brown black with a lacing, tanned, creamy head. Huge beany aroma – coffee beans distinctly shine through the roast. Strong espresso, robust! Very smooth and creamy mf, body is only medium-full, though. Roast expertly blended with a wonderful creaminess and well-hidden lactose. Extremely interesting. Excellent! adrian910ss (1428), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a very dark and muddy brown color with a thick brownish beige head. Lots and lots of lacing. Aroma of creamy roasted coffee and malts. Taste is smooth and malty with a weak creamy light coffee presence. Not bad. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
