The aroma contains loads of coffee and chocolate - nice. The flavor is sweet with chocolate being the most dominant - the coffee lingers far in the background, but the mouthfeel is flat. zathrus13 (1317), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

Roasted malt and coffee in the aroma. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, but end too sweet for me. Body is nice and creamy. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA

But anyway, this beer definitely has the illusion of its name sake. Very coffee like indeed, shich for me is a good thing because my love of coffee nears that for beer. I look forward to the winter just to drink it. shadow (11), Oakford, Pennsylvania, USA

A year later after speaking with one of the Brewers at the New Hope brewery I was able to arrange for a half keg to go. I considered it to be well worth the 1,000 plus bucks I spent for the meister and components required to serve this fantastic beer at home! Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Listed on the board at New Hope as being 6% abv, not 4.6% This was a spectacular stout. Best non-imperial stout I’ve had in a while....actually probably the only non-imperial stout I’ve had in awhile but who cares, this was so good. Delicious delicious get a growler.
