Up there with the double IPAs of late: DFH 90 and Great Divide Hercules. Big hop presence, alcohol well hidden, a big flavorful brew, a touch less aggressive than the DIPAs. Worth the trip to New Hope. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA

Big citrus, orange, pine, c-hop aroma. Nice lacing, Some candy sweetness up front, then it’s all hoppy, tingly goodness. Finishes blazingly bitter. I’m quite impressed with this effort from my favorite BP. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA

Darker more powerful version of their original Amber. Hoppier, but not overly so. A fine brew overall. hopdog (5622), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Citris (oranges) tastes and aromas. Nice malty balance to the nice bitter side. A very good beer (my favorite that I had there today). I would get this again. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

The last time I was at the New Hope Triumph, I was told the Double Amber was coming soon. I’ve been waiting to try it. The description says double the malt and double the hops of their original Amber, and thats exactly what this is. This is a very hoppy beer. Excellent
