Aug 20, 2006 Hand pumped at New Hope loc. Bread and honey butter aroma. Clear amber beer with tight beige head, strong retention. English cracker flavor. Nice stolid sure beer. Rather smooth mouthfeel. Real ale.

Jul 15, 2006 cask in princeton. Poured a nice amber color with a medium long lasting head. Aroma is fruity, caramel, with touches of floral and citrus hops here and there. Taste is the same, with a nice lingering bitter finish.

Jul 12, 2006 [Cask] Poured an amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, floral hops, caramel malts, nuts, and some pine. Taste of was fruity, with some grains, toffee malts, and a light grapefruit hop bitterness. Smooth and creamy, this was a nice session beer.

Jan 4, 2006 Cloudy pour from the hand pump. Malt dominates the nose and initial taste. Hop bitterness comes through slightly but a bit sweeter than I expected.

Dec 12, 2005 Mild, malty, slightly musty, caramel malt aroma. Hazy, deep copper coloured body is topped by a generous and lasting off white head. Soapy floral hops over caramel malts with decent finishing bitterness. Medium light body with soft, gentle carbonation. Sampled on tap at the Pennsylvania location of the brewpub with beerbuzzmontreal, MartinT, Rastacouere and Yowie.

Nov 13, 2005 Billed as an unfiltered real ale in the menu listing. Did not live up to its build up. Not bitter at all, actually sort of malty. After the beer settled it was surprisingly clear?

Nov 1, 2005 Cask New Hope. Pours a lightly hazy medium amber with a nice creamy off white head. Aroma is fruity, with a clean caramel malt aroma and subtle floral hops. Good malty backbone with light hops throughout. Smooth mouthfeel and clean finish.

Oct 13, 2005 Cask conditioned. Slightly cloudy amber pour with a medium offwhite head that sticks to the glass. Aroma of hops and toasted malt. Flavor of spicy hops,soap and toasted malt. The body is light to medium with a soft, comfy mouthfeel and low carbonation.
