on hand pump-pours a retaining creamy off white head that laces and copper color. Aroma is medium malt, secondary hops. Taste is medium malt, creamy, a bit musty, secondary hops, smooth, mild carbonation.

Hazy amber appearance, completed by a huge egg shell head. Served very warm, it bursts with soapiness in the nose, but the citric orangey and earthy fuggles? manage to slice through with ease, unlike the lacking malts. The final result is inevitable, there is no sweetness to tame the astringency. Very hoppy example, medium bodied with smooth, slow soft carbonation.

On tap at the New Hope location:

The Lure:
Resinous hops merge with their citrusy companions. A dry wooden character thrives within, this is apparently a jovial hop party.

The Festivities:
A nagging back hoppiness recalls licking a hop pellet. A little too harsh for a bitter which doesn’t have any malt flavors to speak of. This is full of green, leafy, and soapy hop personalities which get along well until they crash into that screeching, astringent bitterness.

Transcendence:
Raking the leaves off the lawn, and pressing a little too hard.

Handpump at the Princeton location. Aroma is quite fruity with lots of cherry and berry character. A light earthy grainy malt base and a fairly low spicy hoppiness. It could use a slightly higher hopping rate or a bit of dry hops as well. Decent ESB.

Mild, malty, slightly musty, caramel malt aroma. Hazy, deep copper coloured body is topped by a generous and lasting off white head. Soapy floral hops over caramel malts with decent finishing bitterness. Medium light body with soft, gentle carbonation. Sampled on tap at the Pennsylvania location of the brewpub with beerbuzzmontreal, MartinT, Rastacouere and Yowie.

Pump at triumph. Pulls a copper body with an off white head. Malty body caramel and grain, lighter citrus and earth y toned hop notes. Decent.

[Cask] Poured an amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, floral hops, caramel malts, nuts, and some pine. Taste of was fruity, with some grains, toffee malts, and a light grapefruit hop bitterness. Smooth and creamy, this was a nice session beer.

Cask New Hope. Pours a lightly hazy medium amber with a nice creamy off white head. Aroma is fruity, with a clean caramel malt aroma and subtle floral hops. Good malty backbone with light hops throughout. Smooth mouthfeel and clean finish.
