This is a great bitter. Nice amber color with just enough hop for flavoring. I have had it at the brewery from the cask. Very good.

06.30.05 Princeton. Hazed, dark copper-amber with thick tan froth that lasts and laces. Yum! sweet and floral aromas dance atop beds of lightly toasted malts, dry caramel, apricot, mineral hints. Earth juice. This beers aromas and flavors are near impossible to distinguish seperately. Glad I finally got a rateable sample of this excellent brew.

On tap in Princeton. It was a clear, dark gold with a creamy, off-white head. A head which held to the bottom of the glass. A strong malt flavor was followed by a big hop hit. Full bodied flavor with a lingering hop aftertaste.

cask in princeton. Poured a nice amber color with a medium long lasting head. Aroma is fruity, caramel, with touches of floral and citrus hops here and there. Taste is the same, with a nice lingering bitter finish.

Hand pump at Princeton location. Poured a clear rusty copper colored body with a large silky smooth creamy off white head. Biscuit and nut aroma. Super creamy and smooth body. Flavor is grain, nut and slight toffee. A very refreshing and well done beer.

Tap at New Hope brewpub Thought I had actually rated this already but no, just realized I did not. Solid balance of malt with the hops. Love the handpump. Go try it out
