Cornboy (417), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Aug 26, 2009 Wonderful color, aromas of real raspberry (not jolly rancher), slight sour grain. Surprising on the ABV, only a hint in the finish. Felt a little one dimensional, overall a fine beer WeeHeavySD (2940), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Aug 12, 2009 A very sad state of affairs with this beer, had it on tap at the philly location and it was the special brewer’s reserve keg (later found out it was brewed in Princeton). Pours rich orangey with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is tart, subtle razzyness. Taste at firs twas tart with a strange candy razz thing, but it really was dyacetal infected which came out big in the end and screwed the beer up for me. I told the bar tender and hopefully something will happen because it ruined this beer. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 18, 2009 @Princeton -on tap-pours a white ring for a head and deep pink grapefruit color. Aroma is raspberry, secondary musty wheat. Taste is raspberry-some sweet and lemon-some tart and tang. Good effervescence. Alcohol comes through slightly. Nice, lighter in style.
decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Jun 17, 2009 A strawberry/orange hue with bubbly head and lace. Very sour tart berry aroma. Sweet berry, cloying nice sweet finish. A tad thin and bubbly but overall a beer I like alot. imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA May 18, 2009 Growler from Princeton. Pour is a hazy pink/red with a fluffy lighter pink/white head. Aromas of raspberries, slight tart fruit, and slight alcohol. Flavor is light with raspberries, minimal sourness, and finishing smooth and full. This was listed as 8.6% abv on the board. The alcohol was barely noticeable in this one. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Dec 20, 2008 (Draught) Pours a clear golden amber body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of earthiness and sweet fruit. Flavor of sweet raspberries and noticeable alcohol with a dry finish. wetherel (1565), Encinitas, California, USA Oct 13, 2008 Tap. Yellow amber color. Very dry. Low aroma with some raspberry. No sourness. keepersj12 (774), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA Oct 5, 2008 This is the way I like fruit beers. A wonderful raspberry aroma but just a hint in the flavor. Slightly tart with a dry finish. Very nice reddish color.
