Triumph Hefe-Weizen

Cloudy yellow color. Medium white head. Strong wheat, clove, and banana aromas. Wheat and yeast flavors. Short duration. Smooth finish. Thin/fizzy texture. Moderate carbonation. Fair lacing.

Had this one on draught at the Triumph location in downtown Philadelphia. Cloudy, medium yellow pour with a foamy white head, a nice banana nose, a nice citrusy flavor and some slight bitterness of clove, nice!

Tap in Philly. Pours cloudy yellow with a bright white head. Nose is sweet, big brite wheat. Taste is sweet, light, touches of biscuityness.

Full body nice aroma and taste. Sweet banana cream and spice. Overall very good.

Pours a hazed amber brown. Yeasty nose that is just bringing the funk. Full banana on the flavor, which is kind of a good sign that these guys maybe sort of know what to do here. Nice robust and earthy profile. Full body feel on the mouth. Smooth carbonation. Overall very drinkable. Just a nice robust hefe.

Tap @ Triumph Philly. Poured a hazy dark golden color. The aroma had very big banana notes with some clove and licorice underneath. The flavor had banana and big clove with a mildly tart/citric finish that drys out a good bit at the very end. Mild spice.

Very good. i’m always surprised at how well brewpubs can make a hefeweizen. Light copper/orange color with about an inch of white head. Lots of banana esters and clove. light and refreshing especially because it was 90+ degrees outside.
