Very hazy golden in color with a nice big marshmellowy white head. Aroma- this seems to be a very fresh hefeweizen, alot of fruity esters- namely fresh ripe banana and some bubblegum. some light notes of spice and wheat. Taste is very fruity, ripe banana, light bubblegum, wheat, doughy(bread), and lightly spicy. Enjoyable hefe. gallagwar (30), USA

Pours a hazy golden amber with an average foamy yet bubbly off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of wheat, clove, some banana, toasty, citrus and dish soap. Flavor was more of the same with more of the yeast coming through as well as the toastiness and other spices. Cornboy (417), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA

Pretty heavy bodied, more than any hefe I have had but it works well. This one grew on me as I finished the pint, then another. Nothing that hasnt been said, banana, clove, etc. One of my favorite hefe’s. Dickinsonbeer (3451), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA

Pours a nice slightly cloudy yellow/gold with a nice long lasting pure white head and great lace. Aroma is mixed beautifully with all the best parts of a hefe- spicy clove-like phenols and vanilla with estery banana and lots of sweet wheat malts. Flavor is well rounded with moderate yeast character, sweet malts, and a spicy phenolic and light hoppy bitter finish. Very smooth overall, and very easy to drink. Well done. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 28, 2006 Tap @ New Hope. Pours a hazy golden with a pillowy soft white head. Nice creamy but muted banana and citrus flavors. Very clean and refreshing. Somewhat spicy but I keep thinking how this massaged your taste buds without giving you a major workout. That’s a good thing. Very nice hefeweizen produced by an American brewer. hopdog (5576), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
