Commercial Description:
An old fashioned Bavarian favorite, this "yeast-wheat" style has enjoyed a popular revival in recent years. Made from a 60wheat mash and fermented with a special strain of yeast, its complex flavor, with notes of clove, banana and vanilla, is unique in the world of beer.

On tap at the Triumph Brew Pub in New Hope. Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of lemons, bananas, cloves and light bubble gum. Tastes of bananas, cloves, wheat and light vanilla.

New Hope location. Hazy, deep straw color with a collapsing thick and soft, creamy white head. Aroma of bananas, peanuts (oddly), and nice wheaty depth. Estery, citrusy flavor with some tea quality, but nice fresh wheat as well. Very good, interesting hefe.

Draft at the Princeton Location. Hazy dirty yellow ale, no head. Classic banana aroma, fresh flavor. Another excellent hefe-weizen. Not as good as Weyerbacher or Gordon Biersch, but still mighty tasty.

On tap at Princeton BP. Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nice aroma of banana, clove and wheat. Refreshing flavor of wheat, cloves and citrus. Really hit the spot on a very hot, humid day.

A fine example of the style. Up there with some of the better Hefes. They did a really amazing job with this one. Banana and citrus notes.

This is one of the best Hefeweizens in my opinion. Good cloudy yellow with a creamy white head. The aroma had vanilla and banana plus a tarty lemon. The taste had cloves, banana and lemon. Good tartness in the finish. Certainly one of the best Hefeweizens I’ve had.

Opaque golden body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, clove, banana, light lemon. Taste is mild sweet, banana, lemon, clove. Medium body. k beer, but it is a bit undersweet, the lemon too strong.
