Sulphur on this batch was non-existant and was pleasantly malty and light noble hops all around. Great Helles. Tap at New Hope. Pours a nice clear medium gold with a nice lasting white head and good lace. Aroma is initially slight sulfur whihc turned me off to this beer but after a while it went away and gave way to a nice bready pils malt and light herbal and earthy noble hops. Flavor is moslty pils malt, the body isnt as fulll as it should be- a bit of hoppiness, but the body just wasnt up to par for a great Helles. Nice easy drinking lager though. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is lightly grainy, with some notes of grass, hay, honey. Taste is also lighly grainy, with attenuated sweet pils malt, light bodied, with a crisp lightly grassy hop finish. Crisp, dry, and refreshing. Cornboy (417), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA

No lacing at all.
Taste is similar to a pilsner, but with sweet undertones of honeydew. A tiny bit of bitterness in the finish. Nice session beer. bp (458), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 9, 2008 Pours a clear gold and delivers a mild nose. Seems a bit sweet on the fragrance as well. Flavor is smooth with a nice unwavering tone. Feel is good on liquid and carbonation and it goes down easily. A good lager that you could have more than a few of. keepersj12 (808), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA
