Sampler at the Philly brewery. Grainy clean aroma with little hops. Crystal clear with a small white head. Very clean and lightly grainy with a light spicy noble hop flavor. Clean moderately bitter finish.

Pours a clear golden with a medium head and good lace. The aroma is faint but has some nice fresh hay. Flavor is very nice mildly hoppy with some plesant graininess, nicely mildly bitter. Tasty sessionable stuff.

On tap at the KSBF ’09. Poured a lighter golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of doughy/breadiness, grains, and floral. Tastes of dough, bread, grains, floral, and toasty. Some spiciness as well.

Tap at the Philly location: Light golden- good clarity with a white film of head. Light light doughy pils aroma with mild hop presence. Fluffy light body with a clean and dry flavor. The pils malt base is lean- the hop character is there and offers tons of peppery bitterness on the back. A bit one-dimensional but definitely sessionable.

Tap at Philly. Pours a very light golden with a nice white head. Aroma is a nice bready doughy pils malt and light floral hops- clean. Flavor is crackery and pils malts, toast, dough, light yeasty dough, and fresh bread with a nice herbal hops, but the end almost gets too hoppy, bitter for the light body of the beer- seemed a touch off balance. Still, clean refreshing and a nice pils.
