| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Tap at the Philly location: Amber bronze pour with a lacing light tan head. Sweet doughy dark Munich malts- some maltose and wort character. Creamy body a bit sweet- some nondescript sweetness- a tad doughy without enough hop character. Not bad- just needs some more spiciness/bitterness. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2009 Wow, this one surprised me as there was (thankfully, for me) no roasty/toasty/smoky flavor or aroma. Instead, this tasted much like one of the finer examples of an "American Dark Lager" with some caramel sweetness, and light hopping. The coloring is dark and the aroma leans towards malty. Slighty bitter in the after, there was also something nutty and biscuity about this beer. I like it. bp (460), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
