| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 11, 2009 On tap at Triumph in Princeton, NJ. Pours a clear orange-copper body with a finger-width, off-white, foamy head that dissipates at a moderate pace and leaves a decent lacing. Aroma is sweeter with a light pumpkin pie. Not too spicy, but a light cinnamon and clove along with a sweeter caramel. Flavor is similar, but somewhat weak. Lightly sweetened caramels with a softer spice. Finishes crisp after a medium body with a short aftertaste. Overall, not terrible, but unexciting. It was just average, although easily drinkable. yobdoog (1515), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 22, 2009 Reddish copper color small head. Aroma has pumpkin pie spice and sweetness. Flavor is nice and balanced. Drinkable, a bit vegetal, which is nice to see, I taste pumpkin in this one, not just spice, still spicy but not overpowering. dmac (1503), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2009 Growler from Princeton shared at Moosetoberfest. Poured a slihtly muddy brownish/red with a smaller foamy light beige head. Aroma is very well done and like liquid pumpkin pie in a glass. The flavor is taken over by the spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and the pumpkin is more of a background flavor. Solid effort but once again the spices dominate and the pumpkin takes a backseat. egajdzis (3638), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Hazy orange brown with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel, and light citrus. Taste of nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, pine, and pumpkin. CanIHave4Beers (917), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Pours a hazy orange color with a small to medium head with some lace. Aroma is pumpkin pie, they basically nailed the spices in the aroma on this one. The flavor is not so good though, along with the pumpkin pie spices there is a grainy character and what is worse there is some odd cough syrup thing going on. This is fairly watery. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Tap at the Philly location: Hazy copper orange with an off white film of head. Sweet aroma- canned pumpkin, maltose and cinnamon- not very spicy- not much depth. Creamy body with a sweet flavor- maltose, brown sugar, cinnamon, canned pumpkin- slightly under attenuated, or just needs more spices.
