| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Tap at the Princeton brewpub. Clear copper color with a nice beige head. Aroma of scotch (whiskey), caramel malt, and mild hops. Flavor was more of the same, with the scotch really standing out even though I know scotch whiskey and scotch ales are not supposed to be similar. Must be the peat smoked malt. Body medium. imadeadguy (378), back in NJ!, New Jersey, USA

Pour is dark brown/purple with a two finger caramel colored head. Aromas of piney hops, caramel, sweet fruits, and some candy.
