Draft at the Beer at the Big House tasting. I had several samples of this knowing that I will probably never see it again and since it was so damn tasty. Poured a susprisingly clear burnt orange amber body with a small whiteish frothy head. Sweet aroma with notes of cherry, vanilla, bourbon and honey. Tastes of cherries, bourbon, wood, and some grassy hops. Very smoth body with slight carbonation and a medium mouthfeel. So suprised about how smooth this 11% monster drank, really well done.

Very exciting to see this. High st beer fest. Poured dark amber with white head. Aroma of cherries, caramel, and bourbon. Very smooth bourbon texture with some caramel and cherries.

First rating on this guy. Tap at High St. Beerfest. Pour is deep ruby/amber with a frothy caramel colored head. Aromas of cherries, warming burbon, sweet candy, and dark fruits. Flavor is outstanding. Right up front you get cherries, candy, and malt. In the finish the burbon really comes through making this one a sipper. Much more mellow than regular Mad Elf and down right good. Try this one if you get a chance!
