Pours a deep, dark brown with a two-finger tan, frothy head with good retention. Good lacing. The aroma is of roasty malt with a slight tinge of coffee, and a wonderful citrus hop aroma. Taste is initially a citrus hop flavor followed by a roasty maltiness that is accompanied by hints of chocolate and coffee. Excellent balance. Medium body. Soft carbonation.
