Commercial Description:
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

(bottle - 12 oz) Cloudy yellow with a puffy white head. Aroma is spicy with some wheat, banana, and clove. Flavor is a nice hefeweizen taste at the beginning with a good flavor of bananas, wheat, and cloves. Some light spice. The middle is grainy with some yeast and spice and it finishes slightly bitter and dry. Flavor doesn’t last as long as I thought it would, but still good.

(11/16/08) Bottle at friends’ house in Philadelphia (Thanks David T). Cloudy yellow with a white head. Sweet aroma of banana and wheat. Sweetish flavor with some wheat, fruity esters, spicy hints and some unpleasant bitterness. Light-bodied. Smells like a good Hefeweizen, tastes like a mediocre Wheat Ale.

Smells of toasty wheat malts, wonderful banana scent with hints of spices. Taste is very nice hefe banana-like flavor. A little watery, but overall a very tasty hefe.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with fluffy white head. Scents of grass, cloves, honey and some sweet fruit, maybe peaches. Very light on the pallate, smooth and creamy body. Flavors of citrus, cloves, banana and dry grass dominate. Ends very watery.

Deep hazy golden coloured body with orange highlights and a nice fluffy white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, curacao and coriander seed - very nice! Full-bodied; Sweet orange & citrus tastes dominate the mouthful. Aftertaste shows some light spiciness and also some good yeast qualities. Overall, a very good wheat - definitely worth trying! I sampled this beer on draught as a sampler at the Shirlington Oktoberfest in Arlington, Virginia on 07 October 2006.

I am not much of a Wheat beer fan but this beer is a pleasant surprise. Decent banana flavors and hints of cloves. The color is a pale golden yellow. Not overly bubbly as you sometimes find with Whit beers. the taste is well balanced as well. There is hints of citrus that goes well with the rest of the beer. summer or winter this is a good beer to drink
