Aroma is strong of yeast, wheat, slight citrus and floral spices. Creamy wheat texture with some of those citrus and herbal tastes coming up at first, with a yeasty somewhat peppery and dry finish. sudline (26), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Bottle. A solid wheat beer. I could drink this all day in the summer. Add a slice of orange to add to the experience. Smooth in every way. Nice citrus flavors. pojo41 (315), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

Poured with a good white head that stayed a while. Good spicy flavor with the banana in the background. All around, a pretty good hefeweizen. slf245 (50), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 31, 2008 Thick wheat taste at first, but becomes more subtle as you drink it. I thought it wouldn’t be as wheaty as it is, as I enjoy lighter wheat beers, but it wasn’t a bother after a few sips. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Tap at Pacific Standard. Hazy pale yellow, white head. Aroma of banana, lemon and light clove. Very wheaty and citrusy. Flavour is quite spicy and clovey. Lemon and orange citrus and a bit of banana. Fairly herbal hoppiness. Fairly hoppy for the style, but it’s pretty decent. badbeer (433), Iowa, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2008 Bottle courtesy of hopdog. Cloudy yellow color with a soft white head with very good lacing and retention. I get lemon and clove in the nose as well as a little bit of a spice I can’t put my finger on. Taste is full of yeast and bread; a little bit of clove. Higher than medium carbonation and medium bodied. Good drinkable beer. I’d drink this again. Beerman6686 (1287), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2008 POurs a hazy gold/orange. Aroma of wheat, spices and some banana. Taste is very wheaty, not as much spice as in the nose. Pretty boring. emerica56 (582), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Pours a thin off white head with a cloudy orange color, there is also some nice long streaks along the sides of the glass. The nose is of sweet apricot and orange blossom. You can also detect the presance of wheat and those saaz hops used in the brewing process. The flavor initially has a lot of carbonation and some presance of light fruit and that german yeast used. The finish is very bland and has some earthy and floral notes but nothing really exploding on the palate.
