Commercial Description:
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

Pours a hazy yellow gold with a tall, frothy white head. Aroma is strong of yeast, wheat, slight citrus and floral spices. Creamy wheat texture with some of those citrus and herbal tastes coming up at first, with a yeasty somewhat peppery and dry finish.

Bottle. A solid wheat beer. I could drink this all day in the summer. Add a slice of orange to add to the experience. Smooth in every way. Nice citrus flavors.

Poured a nice cloudy yellow gold color. Nice spicy aroma from the yeast. Poured with a good white head that stayed a while. Good spicy flavor with the banana in the background. All around, a pretty good hefeweizen.

Thick wheat taste at first, but becomes more subtle as you drink it. I thought it wouldn’t be as wheaty as it is, as I enjoy lighter wheat beers, but it wasn’t a bother after a few sips.

Tap at Pacific Standard. Hazy pale yellow, white head. Aroma of banana, lemon and light clove. Very wheaty and citrusy. Flavour is quite spicy and clovey. Lemon and orange citrus and a bit of banana. Fairly herbal hoppiness. Fairly hoppy for the style, but it’s pretty decent.

Bottle courtesy of hopdog. Cloudy yellow color with a soft white head with very good lacing and retention. I get lemon and clove in the nose as well as a little bit of a spice I can’t put my finger on. Taste is full of yeast and bread; a little bit of clove. Higher than medium carbonation and medium bodied. Good drinkable beer. I’d drink this again.

POurs a hazy gold/orange. Aroma of wheat, spices and some banana. Taste is very wheaty, not as much spice as in the nose. Pretty boring.

Pours a thin off white head with a cloudy orange color, there is also some nice long streaks along the sides of the glass. The nose is of sweet apricot and orange blossom. You can also detect the presance of wheat and those saaz hops used in the brewing process. The flavor initially has a lot of carbonation and some presance of light fruit and that german yeast used. The finish is very bland and has some earthy and floral notes but nothing really exploding on the palate.
