Commercial Description:
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

I found this on bottles at my nearest beverage center and found it to be typical Hefe. It’s aroma combined with the ease of pouring into a golden body made me think of some its peers, but I liked the resulting good taste. I wound up having 3 bottles of this with Easter dinner.

Bottle. I rated this kind of low because I am not a fan of the style. That being said, Troegs has never disappointed me. My girlfriend who is a bigger fan of the style loved it. This has a very light body and tastes to me the way a wheat field smells. It is very aromatic.

Cloudy pale yellow with a fleeting white head. Nice tart wheat lemony smell. Smooth texture. Decent tart wheat, then semi sweet bread flavors with a crisp clean finish. Light flavored lawnmower beer here. 6137

12oz thanks beastiefan2k - bottled 071307 - Aroma is sweet malts, wheat and a bit of yeast spice. Pours transparent yellow with a small head and decent lacing. Flavor matches aroma and does get a little better as it warms. Palate is clean and a little doughy. Simple and non-offensive but maybe a little past it’s prime.

Pours a hazy golden call with minimal white head. Aroma is of banana, spice, and citrus. Very fruity flavor, with a nice full mouthfeel. Unexpected but enjoyable flavor in this beer.

Pours very hazy and a beautiful, sunny blonde; drunk on this warm afternoon to celebrate snowmelt. Crisp, doughy aroma of minerals, cloves, banana, and warm bread that blankets the nostrils while exhaling. Pineapple and citrus. Flavor is juicy and yeast, citric and acidic with a dry wheat malt effect of crisp spice and nut skins. Surprising, creamy and chewy mouthfull; plenty of spark enlivening the delicate texture. An awesome tartness of apple cider, and cinnamon dusted pears gives a soft quenching effect, leading to a chewy warmth of malt and peppery clove smacking dryly in the aftertaste. Some serious, spot-on execution right here. Thanks Steve!

12oz bottle, courtesy of a trade from a bit ago (I’m losing track of trades at this point...). Thanks! I can’t believe I haven’t rated this beer yet. Pours a hazy, pale whitish-golden color; white head with patchy lacing. Generous amounts of clove, chewy banana, esters, and citrus in the aroma; just a touch of pepper. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lively carbonation; loads of chewy esters, creamy bananas, and a bit of drying cloves, along with a vibrant citrus / mineral bitterness and acidity; this is essentially my fall-back beer when the Schneider Weisse isn’t available or I don’t feel like spending $4 apiece; a generous, tasty German-style hefe. The acidity and creamy estery core do great things here. Medium finish, showing clove, bread, and some lingering spiciness; ends dry.

Great fruit and spice aroma, and flavor, this is one of my favorite wheats beers, the brothers did good
