Feb 28, 2008 Poured an attractive hazy golden color with nice fluffy white head that stayed for a while. Aroma was sweet and dominated by the banana. Flavor was of banana and clove. Mouthfeel was great. This was a very easy drinker and tasted like a legitimate German Hefeweizen.

Feb 24, 2008 Shared by Ed (AKA Doughboy) at Steves house. Poured from 12 oz bottle, very hazy yellowy orange. Aroma prominent wheats, banana’s, some clove, a bit of vanilla and lemons. Flavour was of a smooth hefeweizen beer, wheats and lemons with banana comes through, extremely tastey. An all day drinking beer on a hot summer day. Impressed by this wonderful brew!!

Feb 23, 2008 May 2007 - Pour was hazy orange with moderate white head and little lacing. Strong aroma of wheat and bubblegum. Flavor had a light wheat base, but was dominated by banana and bubblegum. A bit sweet. Okay, but nothing to run out and stock up on.

Feb 20, 2008 Large but quickly disapearing head. Aroma was full of banannas and vanilla. Tasted like lemon grass and liqorice towards the end.

Feb 19, 2008 Bottle: Hazy yellow topped by a white film. The nose is full of German yeast. Banana and bubblegum and damp basement. Nice yeast character. Fairly light and fluffy feel. Lots of yeast character in the flavor as well. Full of banana, though it’s not sweet, and it has a crisp wheat malt presence. Clean and rounded with an authentic German feel to it.

Feb 15, 2008 12 oz bottle-Light yellow color w/a moderate white foamy head & good lacing. Aroma of wheat & grass. Had a little bit of hop flavor to it, w/flavors of wheat, bread dough, & banana. Not as spicy as some, but the hops make up for that. This was a very smooth, easy drinking, sesson type brew.

Feb 11, 2008 very cloudy yellow/white. smelles pretty much like a wheat beer should. giant white head that went away as I started drinking. great lacing. very tangy flavor and feel. kind of fruity. as of now I’m not a big wheat beer fan but this brew is very good. another winner from Troegs.
one more thing about the taste here, this beer has a bit of spice to it too. kind of reminds me of pumpkin.
