Aromas of clove and banana. Wheat is the most prominent flavor with the clove and banana there as well. It has a decent amount of body for a wheat but still pretty refreshing. zathrus13 (1313), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 26, 2007 2006 bottle. Pours a murky pale golden orange with a faint white head. Very nice banana clove ester aroma. Lots of clove flavor, but lacks some sweetness to counter it. Finish is spicy and peppery. Overall, this just comes across with too much spice, and not enough wheat and residual sweetness for my tastes. jblendy (518), Midland Park, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 22, 2007 Pours very hazy straw yellow with a small creamy white head. Sweet tropical fruit aroma, with a mild spicy note. Light fruity flavor, with some hints of hop spice unlike the clove I usually find in German wheat beers. Palate is light/medium, almost fruit smoothie like, with a hint of spice. Definately one of the better wheat beers I’ve had, and I usually don’t like these at all. mtrojano (5), USA does not count | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jan 7, 2007 Crisp and refreshing. Has a slight hint of banana in the taste(which I could do without) but otherwise good spicy flavors Nate (2558), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 6, 2007 Light wheaty aroma with citrus and some herbal spiciness. Mild yeasty notes, too. Just a hint of sulfur. Hazy medium golden body with thin wispy white head. Medium watery body with high carbonation. Starts with nice wit taste, more like a Belgian wit than German hefeweizen. Yeasty with chalky citrus and hops. Good wheaty undertones. Finish is dry and chalky. Quite a nice spicy wit with good aftertaste. EithCubes (2167), Indiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jan 5, 2007 Bottle. Sweet and sour lemon and yeast aroma, touch of dough and spice. Hazy, foggy golden body with a short white head. Taste is spice and yeast and lemon, balanced and smooth with a touch of bread and dough. Sweet and tangy, but the yeast plays the delicious role here. Creamy medium body, lightly warming with a dry, spiced end. Really refreshing. Pretty flawless Hefe, has some individuality, probably the best American-made wheat I’ve had to date. skorchsoul (36), Pennsylvania, USA
