I’ve never met an American wheat beer that is a true interpretation of the real deal. Troeg’s puts forth a faith effort, though, and is one of the tastier American-styled wheats I’ve tasted. Decent body (unfiltered but not all that heavy) with a good amount of clove in the aroma. Slightly acidic, but in a refreshing sort of way. Clove, banana, gumball, black pepper. I’m fairly impressed. bigrond (1054), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA

Taste was cloves, pils malt, a little banana. Light to medium body. Lively carbonation. A pretty good beer for a hefeweizen. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

Pours out a bright yellow color with a white head initially which gives way to no head at all, kind of like this old girl friend i had that wasnt worth a shit. Smell is mostly banana, clove, some hops. Taste is smooth and fruity very full of bananas and lemons. Possibly even some orange. A pretty good take on a hefe actually. Decent stuff. radagast83 (1315), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
