Commercial Description:
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

Bottle from Slob. Thanks! I s’pose I should insert the obligatory "Oooooh, dreeeamweaver... I believe we can make it through the niiighiiiiite," but I won’t . Too cliche. Aroma is a slight bit of bubble gum with an afterthought of banana. Par for the course in looks. Flavor is crisp banana and clove. Mouthfeel is thin. On the whole, not bad. I believe we can reach the mornin’ light.

This beer has a nice banana aroma with a pretty good clove smell. The head is very poor and the lacing is non-existent. The flavor of this wheat is too tart and the palate is too sweet. I am a big fan of Troegs, but this is one of their worst beers.

Sampled at the beer fest in Adamstown Pa. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of spices and bananas. The flavor is weak, spices, and fruit. Good beer.

Pours a light hazy yellowish color with a medium sized white head. Aroma is slightly spicy with banana, pepper and wheat overtones. Taste is spicy as well with hints of wheat, pepper, banana, and fresh yeast. Leaves a clovey aftertaste which is quite pleasant. Interesting beer and quite refreshing.

Lightly tart wheat aroma has pleasant banana esters, very light spices and some herbal, citrus character. Cloudy blond body is topped by a low white head that recedes to cover. Subdued wheat flavour has quiet esters and almost no spices apparent. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. Sampled at Mondial 2006.

Courtesy of a fine particpant in the Myster Beer Swap. Aroma is very yeasty with some funked up bannana notes. Body is a soft yellow and holds a slowly diminishing pinky sized white head. Yeasty fore with some very faint spice and Nilla wafer flavors. One of the more accurate American renditions of the style I have ever had.
