Aroma is very yeasty with some funked up bannana notes. Body is a soft yellow and holds a slowly diminishing pinky sized white head. Yeasty fore with some very faint spice and Nilla wafer flavors. One of the more accurate American renditions of the style I have ever had. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2006 Cloudy orange-straw body with a soapy white head. Pleasant banana, floral, and citrus esters in the aroma plus notes of sweet honeysuckle and biscuits. Fairly dry flavor, but nicely refreshing with good fruit and wheat characters and a subdued hint of phenols. A very solid American-made hefeweizen. nick76 (2678), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 12, 2006 The aroma is like liquid banana bread. There is a massive amount of yeast with bananas, malt, cloves, and citrus hops. The appearance is cloudy gold with a small head. The flavor is sweet and tart with all the elements from the aroma. The aftertaste is like wheat and lemon. The palate is appropriate for the style. Overall a very nice beer.
