Commercial Description:
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

On tap at RnH (NYC). For a wheat beer this strays a little on the bland side. Clove and pepper lingers on the palatte with light banana overtones. Not a favorite, but would recommend to non-beer drinkers who want a light beer for a hot summer day. #036 on 30062009, DG.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber bordering on opaque with a thin to medium white head that falls off quite fast. Hints of acetaldehyde, wheat and corn, citrus, and musk. Thin to medium bodied, much too thin and watery. Again a little bit of sweet corn juice flavor, spicy lemon. Finishes lightly yeasty and a bit sweet.

On tap at Mahars. This is a standard, average, US made hefe with no pizzazz. Very standard clovey overtones with a creamy banana finish, nothing screams unique.

had this on tap i state college pa pours a murky golden color with a off white head. the smell is obviouslly of wheat and of spicies. The taste is clean and scipy with some banana taste great mouthfeel the banana actually makes it smoother and give it a good balance.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is wheat grass, clove, banana, light citrus and spice. The flavorhas much the same as the nose; clove, banana, citrus, grassy, slight mineral/metallic quality. This is not one of my favorite styles, but is drinkable (which for me is giving this a complement). Medium mouthfeel and fairly easy to drink. Dry finish.

Appearance: Pours a dull, cloudy yellow, that looks like a thick glass of fruit juice (grapefruit and pineapple come to mind). Really no head to speak of. Aroma: Banana and clove, perhaps a touch of vanilla. Taste: Banana, cloves, pineapple, and a modest bitter hop spice at the end. Mouthfeel: Thick. Overall: Flavorful and hearty. Not my most favorite Wheat beer, but it’s more my preference than the beer at hand. No need for the lemon or orange wedge.
