Commercial Description:
Long toasty days, cool breezy nights and a splash of magic provide the inspiration for the Troegs brothers’ dreamiest Single Batch creation—Dreamweaver Wheat. Combining four wheat types with Munich and Pils malts, noble Saaz hops, and a yeast strain that imparts a spicy, peppery, clove taste with a slight hint of bananas, Dreamweaver Wheat is an unfiltered blast of spicy, mouthwatering joy.

Bottle poured into my Weizen glass produced a good white head that goes to a thick lace. The body of the brew was a hazy straw yellow in color. Aromas of bananas and wheat are right upfront in this brew. I also got some nice coriander in the nose as well. The flavors are tropical fruity and a light spice as well (coriander). This brew is extremely light and crisp in the mouth. I highly drinkable wheat beer I can see I’ll grab a few more of these this summer. Great brew Tröegs

12oz bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with a nice frothy head. Aroma is clove-ish and wheaty. The flavors and body are very smooth - the unfiltered body is really nice and the light carbonation makes it really easy to guzzle. Nice cloves, nice lemon character. Really a picture of what hefe should be.

Awesome wheat beer. Smells of banana and heavyweight wheat with some sweet pound cake in there too. Banana and a grainy tanginess come through in the taste with some yeastiness at the end. Full robust mouthfeel for the style, very satisfying. Thanks Troegs. 2008 12oz.

A nice brew if you like wheats, but I’m not a really big fan of this one. A little too much citrus bite for me in this one. Decent brew, but wouldn’t be my first choice from Troegs.

Smooth almost too smooth for a wheat beer. Lots of orange spice in the nose and on the palate. Light bodied but exactly what you want and expect from this style of beer. Finish leaves a bit of orange zest in your mouth. Nice beer if you can get it in your area I say go for it.

Bottle (12oz). Hazy pale yellow, average bright white frothy head. Banana, citrus zest, sweet malt, spice - your typical hefe aroma, nothing missing here. Quite a bit of lemon and pungent grassy bitterness to this one, defintely get the clove, nice bitterness in the finish, not too sweet like some. Light-ish body, a little astringent from all that spiciness, nice dry peppery linger - very nice, in cans would be an ideal golf beer.

Source: 12 oz bottle purchased in Washington DC.
Appearance: Cloudy yellow pour, sparse, one finger white head.
Aroma: Clove, faint banana and wheat, with a hint of citrus.
Flavor: Clove dominates, but yeast and citrus are present.
Palate: Light body and watery mouthfeel. A slightly fuller body would have been better.
Overall: Summery beer with some of the right aspects of a very good Hefe. Lacks only body and a bit more banana in the flavor to be very good.

Bottle: Pours a lovey cloudy yellow. Could have a bit more of a head to get it tto a 5 appearance. Nose is weak. Mouth is smooth and ends with tip of tounge saaz tang which is nice but I was expecting some spiceyness, but instead find a light butteryness in place of it. I could not find any spice whatsoever. This went down even and smooth (I had three) so it is far from undrinkable. It may just be kegworthy this summer. but at the moment, it seems a bit weak.
