too little banana and esters and too peppery and metalic quality.
Rather boring.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 12, 2009 Bottle in Brooklyn. Yellow body with slight white head. Sweet and wheatty taste, with lots of bananas in evidence. Nice hopes too. Watery but not bad. tarheels86 (813), Washington DC, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 6, 2009 355mL. Pours a clear yellow with a minuscule white head. Leaves no lacing. Really is an insult to a weizen glass. Aroma is actually pretty decent: rotting bananas, fruit cake, banana bread. Taste is seltzer water, lemon, sourdough bread. Watery body. Very weak, bland. tastybeer (139), Washington DC, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Bottle in my Hefe glass. Smells like rotten bananas. Pours pale, hazy yellow. Tastes like cloves, banana, citrus. Overall a good for a wheat beer but boring. lakamoso (4), Dartmouth, Massachusetts, USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Very tasty Americn Hefe, comparable to some German Hefs, quickly becoming one of my faves. Hoppy, slight banana, and herbs, taste. Would go well with hearty foods, as well as on it’s own.
