Dec 4, 2009 Bottle: The aroma consists caramel, fruit, and light earthy and slightly spicy hops. It pours a mostly transparent amber with a small off-white head. The flavor starts with some very light caramel and fruit. The finish is lightly citrusy and earthy hops. Light bodied with mild carbonation.

Mar 3, 2009 Bottle in trade from ogglethorp. Thanks Brian! Pours amber with a medium lived creamy beige head. Smell is toasted malt with some iced tea notes. Flavor is similar with iced tea and toasty, bready malt and light floral hops to it that provide a nice balance and solid bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Pretty tasty and sessionable.

Jan 29, 2009 Updated: Mar 8, 2009Thanks ogglethorp! Gusher. After it settles down, pours a hazy copper with a dense, active beige head that never fully dies away. Plentiful lace. Pleasant malt aroma with a little peach hard candy in it. Flavor has a solid, slightly sweet malt backbone, with a pleasant fruitiness and a slightly off metallic edge. Very smooth mouthfeel with a lively effervescence in the mouth. I can’t help but wonder if I got an off bottle, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Jan 26, 2009 12 oz. bottle via trade with goryshkewych - Pours a slightly hazy deep amber color with a one and a half finger thick off white head. Nice lacing. Has a pine and herbal hop aroma. Flavor is mostly hops with a little bit of malt hiding in the background and some light esters. Medium body. A nice beer. Thanks George.

Jan 9, 2009 Thanks to fyrecracker for the bottle. Amber pour with a slight haze. Thin tan head and no lace. Piney aroma. Thin bodied. Nice bittersweet balance. A solid esb if there is such a thing.

Dec 26, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a copper color with thin tan head that fades to a thin layer of foam. The aroma is a touch of hops atop a solid malt background that produces strong caramel aromas and a touch of fruit. The taste is very strong roasted malt up front, followed by a healthy dose of pine. A bit of sweetness can be detected after a few drinks.

Nov 29, 2008 Tasty, definitely a pretty good attempt at an American-style ESB. Proper slightly sweet malt and a good bite of hops. I think the EKG is the nice finish on it. (Fresh from Brewery - Growler 11/28/2008)
