May 5, 2009 Pours orange-amber in color with a white head. Real hoppy aroma, kind of spicy. Hoppy, dry taste with a decent malt backbone. Some caramel on the tongue, but hard to find with the strong hops. All the hops left a very dry finish.

May 3, 2009 On tap and bottles. On tap, nice and cold and crisp. Amber color, obviously. Small head. Aroma of caramel malts and some nice hops. Very balanced and drinkable. Taste is great, sweet, malty, hoppy, some mild spice and juicyness. Really good.

May 1, 2009 pours a cloudy orange amber with a thin head and some sudsy laseing aling the sides of the glass. The nose is nice and floral full of fresh hops and hints of caramel malt. This flavor is nice and bitter with a big hop bite in the begining and then it fades after each sip. It keeps biting your toung and there are some hints of lemon grass and spice but nothing potent. There is great carbonation and overall it is a great brew.

May 1, 2009 Tap... Poured amber with a thick, frothy, white head. Aroma of hops and malted grains. Light, fizzy palate with a moderate carbonation. Simple flavors of hops and sweet, toasted grains. Finish was sorta acidic with a little bit of an alpha-resinous bitterness.

May 1, 2009 12 oz. Bottle. Pours a crystal clear copper with a frothy off-white head that leaves decent lacing on the glass. Great floral, hoppy aroma with a subtle caramel malt background. Up front the flavor is a floral with a faint citrusy hop taste, balanced nicely by a sweet caramel malty character. Smooth, balanced finish. Medium bodied. Excellent Amber Ale.

Apr 30, 2009 Crystal clear copper color. Moderate level head that leaves generous amount of lace.
Caramel is the dominant smell; light but floral hop in the background. Slightly metallic.
Nice balance with a decent body. Pleasant malt start, mostly crystal. The swallow presents the bitter hop, but the aftertaste is brief. This is a very easy beer to drink.

Apr 26, 2009 On Tap at Mellow Mushroom. Amber with little head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of spice and amber malts. Flavor is citrusy hops and slight caramel malts. Finish is dry and clean.

Apr 22, 2009 12oz bottle. Another good offering from Troegs. Very much an IPA as far as I am concerned though it certainly is amber in color. Great hop taste and very drinkable.
