| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber/brown with a nice tan head. Aroma of sweet malt and flowery hops. Flavor of bitter flavory hops, light fruits. Very flowery (like soap!). I would like a stronger malt presence along with the strong hop addition. Still, a very enjoyable amber. fredandboboflo (1417), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Bottle. Aroma combining piney hops, diverse fruity esters, and rich malt. Flavor loses some of the diversity of the aroma, as some notes blend together, but still quite tasty. Very nice. lowgun1212 (85), Montclair, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 8, 2008 Bottle acquired as a bonus from mcferc4. Thanks again Rob!!! Crimson body with an eggshell colored head. Flavor is caramel and toffee but packs a bit of a hop punch that differentiates it from most ambers. The hops aren’t in the same league as Lucky 13, Green Flash Hop Head Red, or Speakeasy Prohibition but they are there. Very tasty. Wish I could get more from this brewery. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Taste was soft, citrusy with subtle hop character all the way through. Finishes off dry. bag (103), Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Dark amber appearing brown, somewhat clear with clingy covering of tan head.
Smells of resiny pine and citrus hops jump out with some roasted barley and toasty caramel.
Sweet and citrusy with toasty caramalts. Pretty well balanced with the pine and citrus hop bitterness throughout, but never coming off astringent. Amber for hop-heads.
Somewhat smooth feel, moderate-medium body for amber, but still feels a little thin. Very drinkable amber. soyorganic (217), Denver, Colorado, USA
