Pours out a nice deep copper color with a great head. Aroma is of spicy hops. The taste and palate are the best part of this beer. It has a great spicy hop taste with a malty clean finish. It’s a great version of the style. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 13, 2008 Aroma is quite hoppy, seems to be a touch of malt. Beer is clear, with a small head a few minutes after pouring. Good color for an amber. Flavor is quite hoppy, a good amount of bitterness, all well balanced with the malt flavor. Like an amber IPA. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
