I’m really enjoying the sixtel of this one. Just enough hop flavor to balance out the malty backbone of this amber. It won’t overwhelm but it won’t disappoint. Solid choice.

Dec 11, 2009 aroma is excellent balance of citric hop notes and hefty caramel backup. appearance is tarnished amber, yet translucent. flavor is chewy caramel with hop backup, an equal balance in opposite terms via the aroma. well balanced amber that still qualifies despite strong hopping.

Dec 5, 2009 12oz. Pours a clear amber with a thin, white head that has some okay retention and no lacing. Aroma is caramel, floral hops. Taste is nice caramel malt, some lemon, dry hops, a bit earthy, toast, biscuit. Not bad. Nice bittering hops throughout.

Dec 5, 2009 Nice copper pour. Potent hoops and marzipan come off to smell as well as some light spice notes. Body is well rounded and full mouth coating flavor. Nice piney floral hops presence as well as a balancing sweet almost fruity caramel touch. Bold flavor for the style and a solid brew for sure.

Nov 30, 2009 This is an excellent "hoppy" beer full of flavor and aroma and a very full bodied taste this beer is a very good find, that is if you can find it!!

Nov 28, 2009 Draft. Pours chesnut brown with a thin, white head. Aroma of hops, sweet berries, pine, honey, and hay. Medium to full bodied with a charming, rich mouthfeel. Nice sharp finish. Very good amber ale.
