Sep 9, 2009 Bomber from Chinese Laundry Six Pack!? Poured dark with tan foam head. Roast coffee light aroma. Palate on the mild side, malt smooth with very light roast. Not tasting much of the Java, earthy and a little soapy.

Sep 7, 2009 bomber from grape & gourmet. pours a deep, dark, black with a thick, tan head, and solid lacing. aroma is mellow but very nice with bitter roast coffee, dark chocolate, earthy hops, and a touch of dark fruit. flavor is nice as well with bitter, roasted espresso, bakers chocolate, a bit of vanilla, and earthy hops with a slightly lactic, dry finish. palate is medium bodied and very smooth with solid carbonation. overall, a decent stout but a bit mellow in terms of the coffee flavors.

Sep 7, 2009 Bomber. Pours black with a medium sized but frothy brown head with nice lacing left. Very faints hints of coffee in the nose, very mellow aroma. Bitter start, mocha with afaint hint of coffee, finishes with a bitter hop touch and a bit a lingering sourness. Pretty thick but goes down easy. Not bad, very drinkable, but nothing spectacular.

Sep 7, 2009 Beautiful black with a tan head. Not as much aroma as I would have expected. Coffee, chocolate and very earthy. Taste is more of the same with a very nice hop bitterness. Very smooth finish. Another good one from the brothers.

Sep 5, 2009 bottle Pours a nice midnight black body with nice head. Aroma is faint chocolate, coffee and hops. The coffee is very subtle and the overall brew is very smooth.

Sep 3, 2009 poured thick with a 2 finger chocolate milk colored head. super dark body with no light penetrating the glass. has lacing around the glass with the head hanging around as it sits. medium bodied with definate hits of coffee, i am going to guess, dark roast coffee beans. taste bitter dark chocolate with an aftertaste of hops on the tip of my tounge. the aftertaste is subtle and does hang around to long. the beer is very thick with a nice co2 level.

Sep 2, 2009 (bottle - 22 oz) Dark black pour with a two inch tan head. Aroma is full of bitter and roasted coffee with some light chocolate and bitter hops. Flavor is a nice bitter coffee bite at the beginning with a rather pronounced hop backbone. Following that is a nice dark malt middle with a rather balanced bitter and chocolate coffee finish. Rather nice.

Aug 28, 2009 Just sampled some of this tonight at Shorty’s in NYC. A really tasty brew. Highly robust, with a deep coffee flavor. Coffee reigns, in the nose, the taste and in the aftertaste. Each is somewhat unique, though, and the overall experience is quite complex. I also detected notes of caramel and chocolate, as is to be expected. A good bit malty. Very savory.
