Peppery pine hop aroma. Small beige head with clear dark amber colour. Smooth deep spicey pine with bitter pine aftertaste. A bit less full-bodied then I expected.

Aroma: Citrus, pine, spice
Appearance: Amber-Orange, thin head, lots of lacing.
Flavor: Nice hoppy bitterness, with a good balance from the sweetness & malt. Citrus (Grapefruit, lemon?) and pine-oil.
Palate: Solid body, nice mouthfeel
Overall Impression: Reminds me of HopSlam in a way - as if HopSlam just turned 30 and settled down with a wife and kids. Its much more mellow, but really similar flavor. Hard to find here in OH or I’d love to find more. Really great, balanced brew.

Cask at Stanton Public. Poured a clear medium orange color with an off white head. Attractive aroma of pine and citrus zest. medium bodied and slightly sweet with mild bitterness. Smooth cask-served mouth feel with very little carbonation. Nice mix of caramel, graham, and citrus hop flavors.

22 oz bottle poured into clear pint glass. Medium body with thick creamy white head. My favorite part of this beer was the aroma. At first thought, I smell apricot, but it could be something else; it was definately a citrus of some sort. I would have rated the beer higher if it wasnt so bitter.

[1959-20090124] Tap. Grassy sweet hops aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Super hoppy grass and citrus navel rind flavour. Medium body is very bitter. Yum, great way to start a session.

Bottle thanks to drgonzo3705, thanks Paul! Pours a murky amber color with a small lasting 1 finger head. I could pick up citrus, pine and a lot of malt. This was a classic amber ale on steroids. I enjoyed the hop profile up front but I felt that the malts overpowered the beer. I would love to try this one fresh as it has a lot of potential. Despite the aforementioned problem for me I had no problem finishing my glass. I will re-rate when I get a fresh bottle next year.

12oz bottle from sirpsycho, thanks Mark. My 700th rate and #704 for the beer, should have planned this out, damn.
Amber/orange pour with a white sticky head. Citrus hop aroma, very nice. Light hop flavor, not what I expected, not really any comparison to Pliny.
