Feb 2, 2009 mmmmm.... grapefruit anyone? pours clear amber orange with a light head. nose is sooo citrusy fresh you think your about to drink ur morning OJ (i might be exaggerating a bit, but it sure smells delicious). taste is very pine and grapfruit hoppy. uberdelicious. an awesome limited yearly release that i never seem to buy enough of before it disappears.

Feb 2, 2009 Sampled at From The Vine beer tasting Jan 30th, 2009: This beer is a transparent orange-amber color with a medium thin and fizzy white head that diminishes quickly. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of caramel and citrusy hops. Medium, clean body with a sweet caramel malt character and flavors of piney hops and a touch of grapefruit. The finish is smooth and malty with a grassy hops finish. Pretty good overall.

Feb 1, 2009 Fresh perrenial flowers. Good smell of the openning petals of a flower. Great amber color that is deeper than most. Great fluffy head. Hello hops. Like fresh topsoil. Good stuff. Leaves a great hoppy aftertaste

Feb 1, 2009 Bottle, First beer of my super bowl commercial watching afternoon. Amber pour with a fluffy white head. Smells hoppy, with citrus and pine mingling. Flavor of lots of nice hops swirled in with a mitigating malt presence. Hops are nicely on show here. Tasty beer. Awesome trade bonus beer!

Jan 31, 2009 Updated: Jun 16, 2009Sample at the tasting at From the Vine on 1.30.09. Clear amber pour with a white head. Hopped up aroma of citrus and pine without much else. Citrusy hop flavors of grapefruit and orange with some malt. Not as crisp as I had hoped. Could have used some Cascade or Centennial amongst the gazillion other hops they used.

Jan 31, 2009 Bottle from Sammy. Thanks! Caramelly reddish-orange color with a small beige head. Aroma of pine needles, a bit of citrus and some caramelly malt. Bitter flavor with resinous hops, some pine, a bit of sweet malt and some tropical fruits (pineapple and some others).

Jan 31, 2009 On tap at Cole’s Rare Beer Fest in Buffalo. Great hoppy juicy aroma. Orange pour, decent white head. Strong taste - all juicy hops balanced with some delicious medium malt. No citrus here, all resin and I loved it.
