Jul 4, 2008 this is one of my favorites which i haven’t seen anywhere locally in a bit :( delicious ale with a great orange/lightish copper complexion and a thick, thick creamy head that remains long after the pour. has a definite citrus flavor with a perfect balance of bitterness. i love it!

Jul 3, 2008 Delicious. Wonderful hoppy aroma. Bitter and sweet. Smooth and malty, nice balance. Piney, citrusy hop in flavor and aroma. Nice mouthfeel, all in all a great brew.

Jun 28, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange/amber color with a creamy yellowish beige head. Great retention and lacing. The aroma is a heavy dose of fruity hops(citrus and tropical) with moderately sweet caramel malt. The flavor is more of the wonderful fruity hop (citrus/tropical) goodness from the aroma with the caramel malt balancing things nicely. Full mouthfeel with good carbonation. The finish is on the dry side, but does contain some fruity notes as well. This was much better than expected, and I expected it to be good.

Jun 28, 2008 Had this one on tap at a bar. Not a huge fan of troegs in general, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Very tasty beer.

Jun 26, 2008 This poured a light copper in color with a medium fluffy head of fine white bubbles. Aromas were of herbs followed by citrus and finishing with a bunch of sweet caramel. In the mouth it is meidum-bodied and well-balanced with balancing malt in the midpalate which fades toward hops in the dry and bitter finish.

Jun 3, 2008 Superb brew. Clear light copper with a decent, smooth off white sticky head. Smells of orange peels and fresh cut grass. Sticky hop bitterness all over the palate, tastes of oranges, grapefruit, and other sweet fruit. Big smooth toasted caramel malt flavors. Drinks great, nice crisp hoppy finish. Great beer.

Jun 1, 2008 Thank you After4ever/Tom. It’s a golden amber color and the head is nice and creamy. The aroma if full of fruity hops with notes of papaya, oranges and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness with notes of tangerine, papaya, caramel, citrus, hints of pine and a long and slightly bitter finish, where some grapefruit turns up. It’s a very smooth and harmonic beer – very nice indeed!!
