bottled 1/8/8 from ucusty... picture perfect clear copper pour with a thin off white head and light spotty lacing. aromas of fresh pine needles, grape aquanet hairspray, grass, lime zest, orange, a bit of caramel malt and something savory. low sweetness on the palate... flavors of earthy hops, light pine and citrus pith. malty sweetness doesn’t get in the way and muck up the hops... word. lightly bitter dry finish with lingering citrus. lively vibrant mouth feel from the almost tart prickly carbonation.

12oz, taste is of warrior hops which add substantial bitterness, however, the tastes is quite bright and citrusy, i really enjoyed this nice and floral.

Major cat box in the nose too harsh. Harsh bitterness and bad hop balance. Decently malty but not married well with the hops. Meh.

Bottle, Merritt Island Throwdown. Orange-amber color with white foam. Oily palate. Pure hop infusion concentrated extract of hop mellowed and carried by good malt backbone and caramel plus toffee flavors. Very good brew.

Fairly opaque dark orange, nice large big-bubble white head that lasts. Good lacing. Excellent balance in the nose: grapefruit, other tamer citrus notes like tangerine, quite flowery, sweet toffee. Taste is a bit tilted to the malt upfront: caramel sweetness, fruits, but in the mid-palate and finish the hops shine through in citrus and a rasping, lasting bitter aftertaste. High carbonation, nice and sessionable.

A delicious, hoppy but not too hoppy IPA. Golden amber in a pint, a little sweet, a little bitter, just right. Very drinkable and very much worth buying some of.

12oz bottle. Pours amber color with a nice off-white head. I think this is a couple months old. Wish I could try it fresh but I gotta do what I gotta do. Aroma reminds me of a subdued Hopslam. Sweet, thick fruity hops balanced by a noticeable hop presence. A nice smell though it doesn’t pack the punch that a fresh bottle probably would. Taste is smooth, very drinkable, surprisingly subdued in its bitterness. Alcohol well hidden. This is a very, very drinkable beer. I could see myself drinking a bunch of this. I liked this and hope to try a fresh bottle in the future.
