| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Bottle, Merritt Island Throwdown. Orange-amber color with white foam. Oily palate. Pure hop infusion concentrated extract of hop mellowed and carried by good malt backbone and caramel plus toffee flavors. Very good brew. dmradus (225), State College, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Fairly opaque dark orange, nice large big-bubble white head that lasts. Good lacing. Excellent balance in the nose: grapefruit, other tamer citrus notes like tangerine, quite flowery, sweet toffee. Taste is a bit tilted to the malt upfront: caramel sweetness, fruits, but in the mid-palate and finish the hops shine through in citrus and a rasping, lasting bitter aftertaste. High carbonation, nice and sessionable. popdoggy (100), USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 2, 2008 A delicious, hoppy but not too hoppy IPA. Golden amber in a pint, a little sweet, a little bitter, just right. Very drinkable and very much worth buying some of. DrHomolka (731), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 1, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours amber color with a nice off-white head. I think this is a couple months old. Wish I could try it fresh but I gotta do what I gotta do. Aroma reminds me of a subdued Hopslam. Sweet, thick fruity hops balanced by a noticeable hop presence. A nice smell though it doesn’t pack the punch that a fresh bottle probably would. Taste is smooth, very drinkable, surprisingly subdued in its bitterness. Alcohol well hidden. This is a very, very drinkable beer. I could see myself drinking a bunch of this. I liked this and hope to try a fresh bottle in the future.
