Decent aroma.
Pours a very dark body with little head.
Flavor is very sweet but not overpowering, good, very drinkable.
Not a palate that sticks.
Pretty good sweet stout.
Cheers! TomDecapolis (3170), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2006 Deep dark brown body. Aromas of malt, coffee and chocolate. Nice flavor of malt, coffee and chocolate as well. The finish was a little lighter than most, but still had a decent creaminess. MacDaddyOJake (274), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 19, 2006 Dark opaque brown body with a small tan head that faded rather quickly. Aroma that accompanies oatmeal stouts was quickly recognizable. Slight coffee and chocolate notes in the aroma as well. Taste was much of the same but was there maybe a hint of alcohol in the taste? A wonderful beer that left me wanting more... too bad I only bought a single!
