In the bottle. Pours black with a thick beige head. The head subsides rather rapidly. The aroma is distinctive- Liquid Tootsie Rolls! Orange, chocolate and caramel. The taste is sweet, then tart, then chocolate. This is a great stout. Has a residual roasted coffee flavor at the end. Yummy.

Aroma,a little coffee with some maltyness.Pours dark brown with a tan head.Slight bitter chocolate taste.Kind of thin with a bitter finish.

Milk chocolate colored very head foam. nutty, coffee aroma to it. lots of cocoa in the nose. sweet expresso front, ends in a rich coffee starbucks finish. Very nutty palate. And dry as well. what a great gift. there is enough complexity here in this bottle.

Moderate amount of carbonation with a fluffy brown head and decnt lacing. Aroma is lacking; all I smell is yeast and some very faint chocolate. The flavor is fruity (odd) with some choclate in there. This beer finishes slightly dry with flavors of cocoa, light char, and some lingering nuttiness. A little alcohol comes out just before the finish. It has an average body and is pretty smooth on the palate. -- I was so exciting to finally get my hands on a bottle of this to try, but was disappointed. The Tröegs Oatmeal Stout isn’t nearly as good as the Nimbus Oatmeal Stout that I just finished drinking.

Poured a dark, dark brown with a cascade, albeit a quick cascade. Muddy aroma. Moderate lacing as I drink. Sweet and toasty at the same time. Sweet yet dry at the same time. Dark, bitter chocolate is the primary element, I’d say. Not bad.

Pours a dark brown with a somewhat fizzy tan head. Chocolate, some coffee and some roasted malts. The flavor has a roasty, smokiness...a bit of sweetness and a bit of bitter/sour coffee. The body is pretty full, though a bit too much carbonation seems to take away some of the richness...somewhat dry bitter finish. Overall not a bad stout by any means, my only complaints lie in the body of this super-carbonated stout.

Pours a mahogany brown color with a thick carbonated beige head. Aroma is cocoa,faint coffee beans,and roasted dry malts. Taste is dry with hints of cocoa,oats and roasted malts. Very good.

Deliciously smooth and creamy. A black stout with a frothy tan head. Dry and burnt chocolate on the taste. A great beer to go with dessert. Always limited in supple so drink it while its around.
