The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, hops, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, as well as lighter notes of alcohol and grapefruit, leading to a dry roasted end with notes of oatmeal lingering around. The body is a bit on the thin side inspite of the 6.8% ABV and the oatmeal. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark

it almost has a roasted aroma this time, still no flavor other than a bitter black patent character, a 7% ’troegs winter oatmeal stout’ ranks highly on ba.com, this must be a different beer

Aroma is not very strong, coffee, chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, coffee, roasty, some chocolate. Fairly smooth medium body. Definitely not as good as in past years. (6/3/6/4/12).
