Nov 2, 2007 Bottle. Pours clear dark golden with a small head. Aroma of pine, brown sugar and grapefruit. Taste almost has a creaminess to it that I don’t expect from a pale ale. Hops could be more assertive.

Oct 31, 2007 12oz. Less than stellar, somewhat of a disappointment from Troegs. Light copper with a smallish head. Not much of a nose, the body is soft and thin, and left me wanting with mostly straight-forward hops and malt.

Oct 23, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Pours orange with off white head. The aroma is citrusy, grapefruit mostly, with some brown sugar behind it. The flavor is kind of sweet and citrusy, more like orange than the grapefruit in the nose. There is a pretty level bitterness across the mouth and a sweetish maltiness. That grapefruit kicks in a little in the finish. Pretty refreshing.

Oct 20, 2007 The aroma is sufficiently hoppy, but a little yeasty.Thistle and grapefruit are present. Amber color, thin white head. Floral taste of rose and lillies, a bit on the bitter side, but still good. Round bodied. Weak grapefruit peel finish. Nothing exciting, but it’s pretty good.
