Jan 27, 2007 Pour light amber with a light fizzy white head. Floral hops, and a light nutty malty aroma. Nice hop spice and bitterness without going overboard, with a big balancing malt presence. Palate is medium, lightly bitter, and full of roasty malts. Easy drinking, well balanced, and enjoyable.

Jan 18, 2007 App: Deep copper with a 1/4 inch creamy ivory head.
Smell: Low level, sweet citrusy hops. Faint bready malt.
Taste: Crisp pale malt, followed by strident, bitter hops. No citrusy sweetness anymore. Hops dominate the finish and aftertaste.
Mouth: Crisp and refreshing.
Drink: Decent drinker. Nothing groundbreaking but a nice pale ale.

Jan 8, 2007 Bottle. A clear amber pour with only a slight off-white head. A well balanced character on the order of Alpha King. Crisp. A great session selection.

Jan 3, 2007 Bottle. Citrus and mainly grapefruit aroma, strong with nice aromatic hops. Orange pour with a stable, solid eggshell head. Loads of hops but with a surprisingly restrained bitterness. Actually, taste isn’t all that robust, but it is highly enjoyable. Not so much hop juice as 10 oz. of freshly-squeezed grapefruit juice (sans massive bitterness) and 2 oz. lychee. Touch of yeast and slightly stronger bsicuit in the aftertaste. Crisp and full-bodied, wonderful session stuff. Simple, straightforward, and lovely!

Dec 26, 2006 Bottle, at Kookfest, September 2006. Mid gold colour with decent condition, but not too fizzy. Soft citrus and pine aroma, with slight flowery notes. Bags of grapefruit in the flavour, with a refreshing light bitterness. Relatively understated for an APA but big isn’t always the most beautiful. An excellent drinking beer.

Dec 19, 2006 One of the best APA’s I’ve ever had. The pour was a delicious hazy brown with a small ring of white head. The taste was caramell-y sweetness for a split second, then goes to the hops to finish the job. Not as bitter as an IPA (of course) but more bitter than most APAs that I have tested. Troeg’s has been a go-to brewer in the past and this is no exception! Glad to say I am from PA!

Dec 18, 2006 12 oz bottle from variety pack. Typical micro pale ale, but good. Classic taste and nothing special. Alot like Miller Lite if you ask me.

Dec 10, 2006 Bottle. Dark dark amber color with an average rocky white head that diminished slowly leaving a good lacing. Good hoppy aroma. Medium body. Moderate bitter flavor with good bitter finish of average duration.
