Pours golden with some orange hues, respectable head, decent lacing. The aroma was typical, some citrus hops. The flavor was citrus over top of a clear crysal malt present, a very nice combination. Mouthfeel was typical. My kind of pale ale, although arguable a touch on the sweet side. luckygirl (1221), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 28, 2006 Bottled. Beer was clear, medium gold with a small, frothy, off-white, mostly and quickly diminishing head. The aroma was moderately malty with notes of toasted grain, cookie and caramel; moderately hoppy with notes of herb, lemon, apricot and resin/pine; lightly yeasty with a note of sweet dough; trace note of cola. The flavor was lightly sweet, lightly acidic and moderately bitter with an average-length, lightly bittersweet, trace acidic finish. The body was light, the texture was watery and the carbonation was lively. Light astringency to the finish. Ernest (4515), Boulder, Colorado, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 25, 2006 Bright amber appearance with an average size, off white head and decent lacing. Modest citrusy aroma followed by a slightly herbal scent. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated with a soft, smooth mouthfeel. Decently balanced, especially as it finishes. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

It was IPA esque with a milding agent, less the hops and the alcohol. I think the malts. And the alcohol was bearable. I loved it. Personal favorite from the Troegs brewery next to Nugget Nectar. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2006 In the bottle. Pours golden dark yellow with a white head. Citrus-like hoppy aroma seems fairly average. Medium body and a typical pale ale level of hoppiness. Solid beer, but not outstanding. I find the HopBack to be far superior.
